Job Title: Mental Health Counselor - Clinician - Therapist
Department: Professional Counseling - Outpatient
Status: Full-Time, hourly non-exempt
Reports To: Executive Director of Behavioral Health
Compensation Starting Pay: $62,558 - $63,980 annually
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Degree/Field Required: Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
Degree/Field Preferred: Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
Experience Required: Minimum of one year relevant job experience in counseling/case management
Licenses/Certifications Required: LPC or LSW is required
Licenses/Certifications Preferred: LCPC or LCSW, or actively working towards this licensure, is preferred
Proficient Computer Skills In: Outlook, Word, Database Management Software
Expert Computer Skills In: Outlook, Word, Database Management Software
VEHICLE RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
Access to reliable transportation to get to/from work: Required.
Access to a reliable automobile: Required.
Must provide proof of auto liability insurance (and continue to while working in this position): Required.
Must possess a valid driver's license: Required.
