About the role
Eastern Health Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service (EHOPS) is a well-established multidisciplinary team who provide intensive and assertive case management for adults living with severe mental ill health. EHOPS provide outreach and clinic-based support to the consumers and families we work with.
We are seeking a Senior Allied Health Clinician (Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) who would like to join our team in providing a highly responsive and flexible service to our consumers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician to join the team and provide high quality supports to the consumers and families we work with.
The Senior Clinician role within Maroondah MST is a valued position that works in partnership with people with a lived experience of mental illness and their families and carers to provide high quality assessment, intensive case management services and assertive outreach support using the Collaborative Recovery Model aiming to promote and facilitate recovery.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
